A Brief History

Established in 1986 in the basement of a terraced house in Whitworth, Studio Studio Recording initially catered for local bands and artists however its reputation quickly spread and over the following 14 years the studio  recorded over 6000 sessions for a variety of bands, solo artists, and choirs . 

In April 1999 larger premises were sought and work began to build the new Studio in the peaceful hamlet of Facit. Just over a year later the work was finally completed and on the 7th May 2000 over 500 musicians and media attended the official opening of the facility.
